[ #PSOFT ] PSOFT Pencil+ 4 for 3ds Max is a non-photorealistic rendering plugin which can reproduce the appearance of pen-and-ink and color pencils drawings as well as animation cels. The latest version 4.o comes out with several updates - Pencil+ 4 Materials can now be displayed in real-time in the Nitrous viewport
- Materials hidden behind objects can now penetrate those objects and render as if in front
- Light intensity can now be modified for individual materials
- The user interface is now more user-friendly and the affinity with Max has been increased
- Enhanced gradation bar editing
- Adds support for gamma / LUT correction
- Adds adjustable line set list height
- Adds display of data in lists
- You can now switch the display language of the user interface
- The Pencil+ 4 Line rendering engine now supports multithreading and multiple platforms
- You can now use external references for Line settings
- Adds new edge detection settings
- Reduction settings can now be copied as instances
