How to Flash MTK Feature Phones (Basic Phones)

Now it's time for MediaTek (MTK)

This is a tutorial on how to flash/unbrick MediaTek (MTK) Feature Phones (Basic Phones)
like TECNO, GiONEE etc.

USING VOLCANO BOX

Requirements:

1. Download Volcano Box Setup here
2. Feature Phones (Basic Phone) Drivers Download
3. USB Cord or Pinout connector
4. And of course the MTK Feature Phone (Basic Phone) Firmware

The following are ways to flash, unbrick & unlock MTK Feature Phones (Basic Phones) Using Volcano Box

1. If the device is Completely dead, not coming up or not booting >> Write Flash
2. If the device Hangs on Boot logo >> Format or Write Flash
3. If the device is Passworded >> Read Code/Unlock Code or Format

WRITING FLASH:

• Install & Launch Volcano Box
• Click on MTK
• Select device chip e.g Built-in Boot_11(v5.123)(652^/62xx)
• Select the device Firmware
• Select Write Flash
• Select Auto-detect Pinouts (When using Pinout Cable)
• UnSelect Auto-detect Pinouts & Select USB mode (When using USB Cable)
• Click on Run Button
• Connect Device
• Patiently wait for device to be detected and get connected
• Once device has been detected and get connected, Write Flash Begins..
• Patiently wait for process to be completed until it shows .File has been written.

USING GPG DRAGON BOX

Requirements:

1. Download GPG Dragon Box Setup here or download Cracked Version here
2. Feature Phones (Basic Phone) Drivers Download
3. USB Cord or Pinout connector
4. And of course the MTK Feature Phone (Basic Phone) Firmware

The following are ways to flash, unbrick & unlock MTK Feature Phones (Basic Phones) Using GPG Dragon Box

1. If the device is Completely dead, not coming up or not booting >> WriteFlash
2. If the device Hangs on Boot logo >> Format or WriteFlash
3. If the device is Passworded >> Read_Code or Format

WRITING FLASH:

• Install & Launch GPG Dragon Box
• Click on MTK
• Select Write Flash
• Select USB (when using a USB Cord) or Select COM (when using Pinout connector)
• Select the device Firmware
• Click on Start Button
• Connect Device
• Patiently wait for device to be detected and get connected
• Once device has been detected and get connected, Write Flash Begins..
• Patiently wait for process to be completed until it shows All Done...
